On a mission to help women with life-long anxiety understand their nervous systems, manage overwhelm, and build routines that actually work — without toxic positivity or pretending to be chill.

About

Hi! I’m Kirsten. In Her Anxiety is a cozy, honest space for women who have lived with anxiety for most of their lives — especially the kind that doesn’t always look like panic.

Sometimes anxiety looks like overthinking everything.
Sometimes it looks like being high-functioning, productive, and quietly exhausted.
Sometimes it looks like creativity, sensitivity, and a nervous system that never really turns off.

This blog was created for those moments.

Here, we talk about anxiety in a way that feels human and grounding — blending gentle education, nervous system awareness, psychology, and creative coping tools. The goal isn’t to “fix” anxiety or force calm, but to understand how your brain is wired and learn how to work with it instead of constantly fighting it.

You’ll find reflections on high-functioning anxiety, burnout, overthinking, and emotional regulation, along with practical tools inspired by structure, creativity, and everyday life. Everything here is written with anxious minds in mind — soft, realistic, and pressure-free.

If something here resonates, you’re in the right place. Take what you need, explore at your own pace, and when you’re ready, let’s stay connected.

You can find me on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest @Inheranxiety. Also, I encourage you to subscribe to our newsletters so you stay to date on everything I have planned for 2026!

You should be very proud of yourself for making it here! xoxo
